A Pink Wafer, when offered at precisely the right moment, is like a delightful gossamer kiss from a fairy. Everyone enjoys the sturdier, crumbly bearhugs offered by a hobnob or chocolate digestive, but variety is VERY IMPORTANT when curating a well-arranged biscuit platter.
The Pink Wafer is like a fairy in other ways too: 1) they definitely exist and 2) if you accidentally catch one between your hands when clapping it will fall apart in a little cloud of pink dust and you can shout "I DO believe in fairies" as much as you like but that biscuit/fairy is NOT coming back, sorry.
Basically, avoid applauding around airborne Pink Wafers/fairies.
